I broke my nose when I was 11 years old and had to wait until I was 16 to have a rhinoplasy. The Docotors notes at 16 described my nose a grotesque I had 3 operations on the nhs and still continue to be unhappy. I am now 37 yrs old and continue to feel very self consious and family tell me you cant tell. At Christmas I was on my works night out when a man approached me and asked me how did I break my nose? My confidence was shattered and would love the opportunity to have a specialist work his magic.. I cant tell you what this would do for me. If I could be considered this would mean the world. My husband tells me you cant tell but I now know you can.

hiya my name is leah i am 18 and iv got two brother and we all love our mum so much she is the most loving person and if any one diserves it its her because she works 9 till 5 then comes home and looks after me and my brothers and i cant forget my dad, she just dont stop that why she dont look after her self and she is going to be 50 soon and i just wish if she could get somethink back

Hi, I was wandering if anyone could let me know how to get an application form to apply for an Extreme Makeover. I am writing on behalf of my Younger Sister. I am one of three girls. As children, we all had terrible teeth, extremely forward. My elder sister and I were given braces at the age of 12, but at this age my younger sister was to afraid to have this done. This is something she has always regreted, as her teeth are now very forward and discoloured with permanant brown marks over them, she will always look down or cover her mouth with her hand to smile. She also suffered terrible with acne as a teenager and has been left with very bad scaring all across her face. She also has a large bump in her nose. My sister is such a lovely girl. She's 22 and has never had any convidence. Even now, at the age of 22 she avoids talking to strangers, such as waiters, or shop assistants because she's so worried about the way she looks and what people will think. Please help, it's been terrible watching her be like this for so many years, She's got her whole life ahead of her and I can't bear to see her spend the rest of her life this way, Please help.

I am 24 nearly 25 with 3 children, i'm getting married next year and i don't want to walk down the isle feeling low, like i do now. I need and uplift, teeth straightend and whitening, lipo, tummy tuck. I feel depressed every time i look in the mirror or in a magazine at all the celebs. Wishing thats how i could be, ive tried all sorts of diets and nothing works, i loose weight then tend to gain another stone, please could someone help me or send me a form to apply for the programme.
How does one go about applying to go the show.
I have lost 25 stones, 350pounds. I now have so much excess skin, my legs, arms, tummy upper and lower and boobs are just hanging. I am so conscious of this and it affects me in many ways, my mobility and also it is causing me so much stress. I am embarrassed when my husband sees me, although he says he doesn’t see it. It is so ugly, I just want to be able to look at myself and see no hanging bits, and just to be able to look at myself and be happy with my appearance, and to give me confidence.

In regards to Extreme Makeover uk, I would really appreciate it if there was a possibility for you to chose my mother for a candidate. She has been battling with her weight and skin for around 10 years now, but more 'mis-haps' keep putting her down. The most recent and final straw was losing her mother, suffering with slight depression she feels that she has no will power to lose weight or clear her skin. could you tell me how to apply for extreme makeover uk i'm a 28yo guy years ago i got scalded down the left hand side of my body and it has left me with a huge scar then three and a half years ago i got robbed while in my flat when the intruders broke in they smashed my face up pretty bad i have no teeth from the front (upper)left canine to the back of the left hand side (where my wisdom teeth should be) and the bottom right hand canine to the back where i still have a wisdom tooth my nose although not majorly disformed has been broken and my self confidence is just so so low at the moment

I am 38 year old man, i am what u call obese, as bmi is 34.1. I really need some help as have lost confidence and have tried to lost weight as have forked out for 2 liposuction, which the doctor only took 350ml the first time and 700ml the second time from my neck and stomach. I am always tied and am now comfort eating and so unhappy. I would like for me and my best friend to apply for a complete makeover. After 2 years of trauma and losing my mother through cancer life has taken its toll. My daughter was also diagnosed too, but is now on the road to recovery. I wish I had the confidence to have a beautiful smile, breast have gone south face needs liffting as do I. My best friend has also suffered with divorce and family problems too. We are both in our late forties and feel that this is the only chance for us to have a life changing experience and to have a new inner confidence to help us find future partners. I have always been teased about my nose and would be so proud to feel free from the feeling of not feeling worthy enough to find a man.

I am hoping that someone can point me in the right direction to apply for extreme makeover UK. The application would be for both my mum and myself. My mum suffered from severe depression after having lost my gran and grandpa. She stopped caring and lost everything she once had. Also a dentist made a mess of her teeth, which made her even worse. She has always been there for me and i would love to give her something that would mean the world to her in return. I want her to be proud of herself. I would also like to enter as i too have suffered from depression spurred by a young terrible marriage, then morbid obesity and bullying. I have since had a gastric band and lost a lot of weight and just want to feel as if my journey is complete. I want to be able to wear what people of my age group do as i lost out on my teen years. Hi, Im a 30 year old mother of one. Im looking on ways to apply for extreme makeover uk. Im feeling really depressed about my body. I was a late developer and didnt start my periods until i was 16. My breasts have never changed, Im still a size 34aa which i was at school, i used to get called table chest, fried egg chest at school due to my very small breasts. I cant even wear a dress as i look like i have a mans chest. My confidence is suffering big time, I have a boyfriend who ive been with for 3 months now, he hasnt even seen my breasts as im so embarresed. I also have really bad teeth, two years ago i had to have 8 teeth removed, im terrifed of dentists and had to have this done at the hospital under general anaestetic, i never smile in photos, if i had the money i would definately be bookin an appointment to have the work done, please please help me as im suffering and feel i cant move on with my life. I had a gastric bypass on the NHS in december 2005 and weighed 28 stones 7 pounds,i am currently 13 stones 7 pounds and as you can well imagine i have been left with terrible ammounts of excess skin,i desperatly need my skin removing from my tummy,arms thighs,bum and a boob job and my face is sagging with it going thin now,i was overweight for a lot of years and the skin will not shrink back whatsoever,i had more confidence when i was at my biggest than i have now,i have tried to apply to several tv shows via the internet for help with this but have had no luck or any reponse,i do wonder if they think i am beyond help,can anyone point me in the right direction.

My mum is the best mother that you could wish for, and has faced tradgedy after tradgedy in our family in the past years, starting with myself I was a difficult child as I had being diagonosed with Turners Syndrome when I was 10 years old, which meant my mum had to inject me everyday and take me back and forth to hospital for testing , and unfortunately this has left me unable to have children, not only this My little sister was attacked by a friend of the family and was then to go on to be diagonosed with ovarian cancer and had major surgery which we were unsure weather she would be able to have children again , and the worst part was, she was only 17. This was too much for her to handle and attempted to take her life. At such a bad time in my mums life she handled herself with dignity and never put herself first.My mum is a senior carer , which is no surprise as She is such a loving, caring and dedicated person. With all of this going on she never gave a thought to herself when she was then diagonsed with skin cancer and was telling us all it would be ok, while i am sure she was totally deflated, even though she is such a perfect mum she is so unhappy with the way she looks that she always comments on how old or big she looks.
I would love for my mum to have the opportunity to do this and would love to put my mum forward for it as I cant think of a more loving and deserving person.... please help me make my mums dream come true.

Hi my name is James and I would like to put my mum forward for an extreme makeover. She is 44 years young (she won't mind me saying) and she is the best mum in the world. She has had a very difficult 6 monthe where everything went wrong for her. My mum's husband of 6 years had an affair with a younger woman which has left mum feeling very low. She has no confidence as a result so is finding it very difficult to go back out into the work world. She is a wonderful mum and does everything she can for me and my brother..she does without foir us...we are on benefits and all mum needs is a load of confidence to get her back out to work and a makeover would boost her confidence enough for her to face the world.

i have 4 great kids and the best husband a women could ever dream of but i had my son when i was 17 my daughter when i was 19 and there really messed my body up i breast fed them both for 9 months i left my partner because he only cared about himself i sufferd really badly with depression and only seen one way out untill i met my husband since then i have had 2 more children i look like a old lady i will not let my husband or my children look at me with nothing on i will not take them swimming or to the beach because i am ashamed of what i look like i have looked around at costs of surgary and there is no way i could ever afford it there are thing i no i can never fix but im 26 and i cant look at my self in the mirror at my please help

Hi my name is Teri Weidner. I am 27 and a mother of 2. I wach your show when it comes on most of the time. It brings good hop to me to see that there are people out in this world who realy care on changing other peoples lifes. When I wach the show I sit back in slience in kind of cry inside thinking on when could I find a whay like that to look and fell better about my own self. As a child in school I was teased all the time. I can rember running home after school to cry to my mom. Going through high school was not much better but insted of the crying out loud I keept it all in and that brought on my many years of depresson. When I had my son when I was 19 I thought to myself that my life might be changing. That came to a end as I was three month along. After I had my son I knew that he was given to me to help save me. He has helped me remain a happy life. But when I look in to a mearro and I see the person looking back at me it makes me want to cry. I am so tired of going out with my friends and being looked around, like I am not even their. When I have my own so called closs friends looking at me telling me that I don't have a chin and I look like I have been hit by a ugly wall it makes me just want to croll into a hole and stay there in my own slince. The only two things that keepo me out of it are my two bundles of joy. That is why I am wrighting this commit today asking for your help on how to get a Extreem Makeover so I will hopofully one of these days get out there to find a fauther figer to my two joys of my life. Im a 37 year old mother of two aged 20 & 4mths. I am in a very bad shape piled on alot of weight and have tried all diets including going to the gym. Im also getting married this year and dont want my best day to be a nightmare because of my weight. I was a size 10-12 now im a size 20-22 due to alot of problems and have been mentally affected causing me to comfort eat. I would like to be granted the opportunity to go on Extreme makeover as this programme has changed alot of peoples lives. Does anyone ou there know how i can be on this programme.

For all of my adult life i have struggled with the appearance of my stomach which revolts me and i find disgusting. I have a baggy stomach which overhangs and unfortunantely this was exasperated following my pregnancy which resulted in horrendous stretch marks in addition.
Due to my self-repulsion, i feel that my personal and social life have been very limited, i have felt unable to have a relationship for the past 15 years, not through fear of what other people may feel but purely due to my own self disgust of the appearance of my stomach. This obviously affects my ability to have social activities such as swimming or holidays that would involve me undressing and showing my body in any way in a bathing costume.I also find it very difficult to dress in a way that reflects my own identity due to the limited choice of suitable clothing.
I gained a considerable amount of weight over the last few years and was eventually diagnosed with an under-active thyroid about six years ago. I have subsequently lost around 54 pounds. Whilst my general health has obviously improved due to this, yet again it had an adverse affecton my stomach causing a larger overhang and more saggy skin. whilst over the years i have made every effort to save money to try and finance having a tummy tuck myself, this has proved to be an ongoing battle due to being a single parent with many other financial commitments. please can you help me have a life again

Doing his right now is one of the hardest things that i am going to do but i really need the help. My name is Erica and I'm 23 years and been a single mother of a 2yr old beautiful girl from when she was 10 weeks old. I have been through a hell of alot at a very young age. When i got pregnant with my daughter it was the best thing that ever happened to me because of the fact i have no family in the uk but being pregnant also came with the massive weight gain. I went from a size 8-10 (9st 12lb) to a size 18-20 (14st 1lb). I have really struggled with my weight and i tried and tried to get rid of it but i couldn't. Its was so depressing because i wasn't use to looking in the mirror and not recognizing who was steering back at me. I cried at the time, i was really unhappy about my weight and busting my a** trying to be the most mom that i can for my little girl.
i got absolutely no attention from the opposite sex. Nothing no man would even stare at me twice not even once it was like i was invisible and that i wasn't use too. On the 1st December 2008 i decided that i have had enough of being overweight so i took matters into my own hands and went on a diet but this time i was serious because i wanted to feel like the old Erica that i have missed so much, full of confidence, bubbly, always smiling. I hadn't seen this this Erica for over 2yrs and i was gonna get her back.
I did though in the end todays date is the 6th may 2009 @ 23:25 and Erica weighs 10st 2lbs and a size 10. I'm so happy about my achievement because its means alot to me. I'M aware that my body will never look exactly the same like before i got pregnant but i also no that there is a way to correct some problems which makes me hide my body away. I am proud of my achievements but i am not proud of certain parts of my body. I can't wear what i want full with confidence. I'm young and i want to feel young like me age. My body makes me feel like I'm aging rapidly with the excess skin and really, my tummy still has allot of fat round it which i have been working on it for months but its not working, my butt is saggy and has drop so now i have no bottom at all, my breast really i don't even want to go there, you would have to see for yourself. When i was pregnant i was a 38H now I'm a 34DD. I've always had sort of big breast but now i think theres actually more loose skin that breast.
I would really like you to take the opportunity to read my massage as i have tried everything that i can possibly do to get the body that i want. Yes, i have lost the weight but now i'm looking for you to offer that helping hand so i can get my body corrected.

Hi, I had my 1st child at 17, and 2nd at 19. These 2 angels arrived through an violent and abusive relationship. I lost all my confidence back then, I began drinking due to depression and one of my precious girls had to be given up for adoption or they would've taken both of them. Since then, I have only continued to find rubbish relationships. I have 2 sons also, aged 5 & 3, and since having children, my teeth have got so bad, as you will see in the photos. I have put on a bit of weight - I was size 10 before having children, now Im just about to burst out of my size 14 clothes...I cant seem to shift the fat, and its getting me down-I have never been this fat before.I seem to have gone from a teen with an ok figure to late 20's with just flabby ugliness and I feel frumpy, fat, ugly, I have no confidence, and feel I cannot apply for work, as 1...I dont have the confidence to do so, and 2... I feel they wouldn't hire me because of the way I look. I do not smile in photo's, and worst of all...I have no photos of me & my children, as I hate the way I look. I do not go out unless I have to...I only go food shopping & out to take my children to school. My Nan used to be my rock, and since she died March 2008, my weight has gone up again. I thought maybe you could send me in the direction of the UK Extreme Makeover people, as I cannot find how to contact them. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as I feel I'm going further down & very much need a pick up. Please reply and let me know if you can help...I'm at a point in my life where I feel so so desperate, and Im lonely too, I feel a major makeover would give me the opportunity to get out and meet new people, make new friends and maybe find someone special to complete my family. hi, i would like to apply for the show please. i am 26, i have 3 wonderful kids and the pregnancies have taken their toll on my body. i recently got out of an abusive marriage and i don't really have any confidence left. i would really like your help so i can get my confidence back as i'm depressed at the moment, i'm trying to get on with my life, and trying to lose weight but the areas i'm concerned about just seem to get worse. i definately don't have the body of a 26 year old as my breasts are saggy, my tummy is wrinkled and my thighs look like i've got elephant legs. i would be so grateful for your help and i know it would change my life. thank you
Im 24 years old. never had the guts 2 were a short skirt as they are real big and have lumpy and lots of vains on them this upsets me im 24 and i cant were clothing like most women my age also cant get trousers 2 fit. always 2 big round the wast 2 tight round my legs. i have big arms so i cant have them on show. i also have a lil bit of a belly tha hangs over. i have this bit under my chin so i can end up with 3chins at once. i once had a brace but they still are not right. i have never been happy with the way i look and have tryed in the past 2 change it. i just wish i could go one day with out hating my body and be able 2 were a bikini or a skirt.
My mum is now in her 50s she was once very good looking and i still think so 2day :) thr is alot she would change with having 3kids and now at the age that she thinks she will never be able 2 change i think this would really be amazing for her. with all her hard work in her life and having 2 put up with my father, me and my 2 brothers i think she deserves it.... so even if i was not lucky enuff 2 get this then i ould hope my mum would.

My doctor thinks I am an ideal candidate for a gastric band on the nhs but I was refused because the waiting list is far to high. I have now reached the age of 50 and with my ill health i would benefit greatly. I would also stop hating myself. Please consider me.
