In this wildlife whodunit, the location is the Amazon rainforest, and the victim is the enigmatic three-toed sloth. Charming, helpless, and bizarre, the sloth has enemies from jaguars to venomous vipers, army ants to anacondas. Each piece of evidence adds to the puzzle and increases the number of possible predators, as well as revealing examples of fascinating behaviour.
