Does anyone know where I can find the music that was played in last night's program? It was aired on BBC2, Sunday 29 November at 8pm - it was beautiful.

We rightly hear a lot about the Orcadians from Ray Mears and the North West Company have a walk on part, although they were initially the voyageurs, stealing a march on the more static HBC and, interestingly, founded and run by Highlanders. However, at the end of the day the Scottish contribution to Canada, Orcadian and Highland, so obviously significant, is rendered invisible by Ray Mears as he philosophises at the end on the contrasting contributions of the French and the English. What it is to belong to an invisible part of Britain!
