    Be assured that none were killed for the purposes of the show. The elephants was an older animal from a zoo which had to be euthanised due to severe illness. The whale stranded and died of natural causes.

    they said the elephant was put down as she was lame and when they did they autopsy they found out she must have been in huge pain. the blurb on channel 4 said the whale washed up in ireland.
