In this documentary Paul mentioned he was writing a book about his weight loss. Does anybody know anything about it, whats it called etc. Would love to have a read of it. I was fascinated last night watching his progress and was in complete shock when at the end they announce that Paul had since passed away. God bless him!
I agree with Dawn. I watched theprogram last night and was very upset at hearing he had passed away. I wish I had his determination.
God bless

I agree. Trying to find book afdter seeing this film for the first time. Pulishers are missing a trick here. The book is ony available at over £100! His story was inspirational, and his determination admirable. His wife was a saint too. I identified with Paul. Really upset to learn he died from a non malignant brain tumour op.
i watched the prog last night with my hubby who is in need of some inspiration to lose about 4 stone, i was very impressed how hard paul worked to get his weight off, i thought he looked amazing at the final weigh in. i was so upset to read that he had died. i was awake most of the night thinking about him. my husband is now counting his blessings that all he has to worry about is his weight. god bless paul.
What an utterly amazing man. Very good program on his determination to shed the kilos. So saddening to realise he passed away at the end. A real inspiration of a man.
In this documentary I was struck by Paul's grit and inner strength what a shock to find he had passed away.Would love to read his book.God bless him and his wife.
Paul passed away aged 44 following an operation to remove a benign brain tumour
I saw the programme last night, and couldn't believe it when it said at the end he had died. How dreadfully sad after all the efoort he had put in. I also want the book but it says £170 on Amazon!!
I was watching with awe at the determination of Paul & deeply saddened to learn he had passed. I too have to lose at least 8 stone, and have found it impossible for years. My weight has even attributed to the break up of my marrriage. Paul has certainly switched a light on in my mind and l am determined to change my life for the better. Thank you Paul.
I watched the programme last night and i salute Paul and take me hat off to him. He has inspired me to loose weight now. I missed the last part which mentioned he died and only just learnt of his death now when I gogged on to the net. I am saddened by his death he was an inspiration to me. R.I.P.
What a wonderful man dieting is the hardest thing to do, he worked so hard to lose the weight and so little time to enjoy his success, It really upset me when I heard he had died, thank you Paul for inspiration condolences to your family x
I am 40, ginger, and 24 stone and I could almost be a twin with Paul Jeffreys.
I recorded the show and have just watched it today.
I was chuffed to bits by his success, but then knocked for six by the obituary at the end.
I hope to use his inspirational programme to pull my finger out and get sorted.
RIP Mr Jeffreys.
I have just seen the programme for the first time after flicking through the channels of sky, I paused on this as it was a real "fly on the wall" documentry about a successfull guy who had all of the trappings of life but had hit a stage in his life where things needed to change .No one but himself and his motivation could change this so he set to work and in 12 months acheived incredible results, It left me with a warm feel good factor and has given me motivation to succeed in my weight loss!! At the very end of the film it advised that this was in the Memory of Paul and the feel good factor was lost but the grit and determination still remained, I think you would have been a great guy to know....Very sad loss....John
