The Embarrassing Illnesses clinic tackles more of those medical problems that people would rather bury than share with their GP. Three doctors - Dawn Harper, Christian Jessen and Pixie McKenna - examine the symptoms of a number of common ailments to help their patients realise that they are not alone. Patients consulted and diagnosed by the doctors include 33-year-old Toni, who's so ashamed of her asymmetrical breasts that she's never let her husband see them. A man's worst STD nightmare is examined by Dr Jessen, while Derek's deformed toenail is driving both him and his partner to distraction. Also in the show is 25-year-old Natalie, whose in-growing hair is ruining her love life, and a patient whose inability to control her bladder is making her life hell. Male fertility is on the agenda as a group of mountain bikers learn how their hobby could be doing them more harm than good. Sperm samples are supplied to Dr Jessen, with one shocking result.

Tracy - that woman who had bad breath had an overgrowth of the normal bacteria that lives on the tongue, called an anaerobe.

It wasn't mentioned what type of antibotic was given to her, but it has been mentioned somewhere on the Embarrassing Illnesses website that it was a course of an anaerobic antibiotic such as metronidazole. It requires a prescription, so you'll have to ask your GP if he agrees if it is ok for you.

Hi I have a dilema. My daughter who is 18, has felt like and has fainted whilst having her hair done at the hairdressers this was when she was having her hair dried and straightened. She has also fainted when she went for some camoflage treatment for her keyloid scaring. We have put it down to heat but could you shed some light on what may be causing this is happening as I am on pins everytime she has her hair done or has to go for something and am frightened that she will faint again. After the first two occasions it happened I took her to the doctors and she was given blood tests but these came back normal. Hope you can help with our dilema.
