Scrapheap Challenge, the show where teams battle it out to become Britain's best bodgers of crazy contraptions, returns for a brand new series. This time round the two teams have a new heap of over 200 tonnes of rusty refuse and scrap to cannibalise, as well as two new purpose-built indoor areas, filled with all the tools and equipment they could ever hope for to construct their bizarre machines. Presenters Robert Llewellyn and Lisa Rogers oversee proceedings as the all-new Scrapheap features some of the most ambitious challenges ever. The first show sees a trio of forklift truck drivers from Kent take on three army helicopters pilots from the home counties in one of the most dangerous challenges ever attempted. They have just 10 hours to build underwater cars.
