The Martial Mechanics, three judo mad garage technicians from Folkestone, do battle with the Boat Buoys, a group of sailors from Hampshire. It's a fierce contest to build a vessel that can compete in a tug of war on water. But propellers are banned in this aquatic challenge, so an Archimedes screw boat takes on a hefty paddleboat in a show of sheer engineering ingenuity.
