The Scrappy Races: Mud Runners

Series 1, episode 0

Four teams of madcap mechanics had six weeks and just £1,500 to build multi-tasking vehicles to race them across Britain. They're now near the end of their epic 1,000-mile road trip, which has seen them tackle the greatest challenges man and Mother Nature can throw at them. The last programme in the series sees the teams turn their weary wheels into bog-busting, border-breaking mud runners; they must race through a maze of deep and dangerous muddy pits and across the finish line into Scotland. Which madcap team will win the championship? Home county bobbies the Cops and Bodgers in a hot rodded panda car complete with prison cell? Suburban bovver boys the Knuckleheadz in their SAS-style dune buggy? Scottish engineers the Tartan Starlets in a mini limo? Or reigning champions the Chaos Crew with their V8-powered ice cream van? The Chaos Crew are neck and neck with the Knuckleheadz on the championship table, but for a team to win the overall competition their vehicles must make it over the finish line and into Scotland, so they competition is wide open!
