Two new series of Escape from Scorpion Island scheduled to be filmed this summer.
After attracting peak audiences of a million with its first series, Escape from Scorpion Island will return to the BBC in the form of two new 15-episode instalments, much to the delight of global property rights holder, The Foundation, part of the RDF Media Group.
The kids’ adventure game show sees 16 children between 11 and 14 marooned on an island and compete to be the first team to escape by completing set challenges and stunts.
The second series will be broadcast on BBC 1 later this year, with series three scheduled to go out in 2009.
Anne Gilchrist, controller, CBBC, said: “Escape from Scorpion Island has amazing challenges that every child in Britain will be wishing they could take part it – I’m thrilled to be able to order another two series of this ambitious show.”
Nigel Pickard, director of RDF’s family entertainment, added: “We’re delighted to be producing another two series of Escape from Scorpion Island for the BBC and can’t wait to get stuck into more hair-raising challenges that every child looking for an adventure will love to watch.”

to apply for the show all you need to do is print out an application form from the website (type scorpion island into google and click first option), fill it in, and send it off. If you get through that stage, they phone you up for an interview, and if you get through that stage you go on a weekend away in Shropshire. I dont know what you do after that because I haven't been told yet. I'm going on the weekend this Saturday.

But one thing about it it would probably be filmed in 2009, and series 3 is comming out in 2009 so you might be a little 2 old but you also might just slip in and be lucky! OK. Just watched EFSI and i just want to go through Reckless Rally this was good but hard
1st of all i didn't no Alex Y can drive on a motobike.
2nd who do u think is bad a driving Cai or Lachlan and Joel said to Cai "If you get a diriving licenise i wont get in with you" yeh save it for driving school
lets talk about Team Claw they picked Ollie & Jake for this challlenge which they knocked 1 skull down finishing with 4:18.
Sting picked Cai and Lachlan for this challenge, Lachlan used a power play called False Start, which they started again, Cai was being a bad driver to Lachlan shouting at him, his team told lachlan to slow you are not on a motorway, with them knocking skulls over with Team Claw screaming like crazy, but they did knock 5 skulls costing them 50sec and completed the challenge with 4:14. And it was pretty close 4sec in it, if thye knocked one more claw wiuld have snatched Alex Y from Sting. Since Ollie nomiated to go back to Limbo, now Claw are now showing when Team Sting lose a team member.
Tara do u think it was tight between the times? would you have Alex Y on your team?

and here is My Review on today’s Espiode
Before I speak on the challenge. I like talk about Tara about Ollie, when Ollie went to limbo as she was upset and crying. Tara you said he was a strong member to Team Claw, and loss a family member. Now the Revenge of Team Sting since they decided to revenge Sting because of Ollie and they make it a hell of a mess. I have a question how long do you think that Team Claw you have made a mess in Sting Camp?
As Cameron is saying is this war, in my thinking it as already begun.
Now for the Challenge Over the edge it was a good challenge lets talk about Jach she was good flying like through the air like a superhero. Question if Jach does go into a movie what superhero power she would also have.
Alex T I was simply impressed with his amount of strength winning limbo challenge with Jach, and Joel calling him world strongest man, I have been doing some comparison between Tara & Alex T, and my verdict is….. they are good in every way.
For the Limbo Survival Challenge what a challenge fill the hole with water within 5 minutes what a race, if anyone here a Raven fan including me I was listening to a music in my head from the challenge Fire Water because Ollie and Jack were running like crazy it is like they are in a panic with their hearts beating and their adrenaline pumping like crazy.
Now for the challenge Sting vs Claw it was another close challenge from last the challenge Reckless Rally and it was Alex Y comeback challenge and pushing himself to the limit in this challenge.
Claw Amie was very good as well she might be having a few problems wacking the skulls but with Sammy’s help she found her rhythm.
Winner was Team Sting and has got Jach taking them up to 7
I also want to speak about Sammy she is very strong adventurer because she has helped many people through the challenges the 1st one was Tara on Sky High Scramble. 2. Helping Ayla to control her fears. And 3 helping Lizzy through her pain. If I think the mother of all Team Claw would have to be Sammy.
Congrats to Cameron becoming the Ct for the 1st time he had never had a chance.
And also I have a question for Tara as since he was watching SI to2 can you tell me what is the island doing to Lizzy and Amie. I know this is spoiling because I am from the UK.

Why was Jake so laid back, we always went for the positive in Claw and what was he supposed to do? It was either be angry and ffrustrated and do badly and not have any friends or be laid back positive and happy ergo lots of friends and having fun. Don't worry we get another boy at the end.

i know the last gasp challenge was AGES ago but i'd just like 2 say that the competetors would of saved valuable time if instead of carrying ur skull while going to put it on the rock thing if u'd done it water polo style and placed it in front of u and swum normally bcos its less tiring and u hav use of both arms (my friend told me that and she plays water polo and i used to play so i agree)

You can't say "Her writing look's like Tara's" cause you haven't seen her. Because I am a familiar worker in the media department I have stumbled across many people playing as posers. This is called "Identity Theft" and is AGAINST THE LAW. If you want more information it is suggested you contact your local government and ask about the law created. If you can't understand what I'm saying I do apologize. However there is many online dictionaries you may view to figure out what I am saying.

Okay.. ermm.. let me see, how to word this. Okay, I've got it! What some of the people are doing here is ILLEGAL and AGAINST THE LAW. This may be created to have fun and talk about SI but I have been a major part of law and governmental laws and I cannot stand here and watch people steal others identities. The aplication form 4 series 3 of EFSI was exactly the same one as the one 4 series 2, they just divided the kids up @ the end. They filmed series 2 & 3 @ the same time 2 save money. If u still dont believe me, then contact rdftelevision.com who will confirm that 2 series' of EFSI were filmed in australia this summer. If u still arent convinced after that, then just u wait 4 nxt yr when series 3 will b on. U will c u were sorta wrong all the time.

The people who have just finished the show of ESCAPE FROM SCOPIAN ISLAND, where did you find the application forms - to be able to become on the show??? I would love to be on the show next year!!
