Celebratory parody of the 1930s Frankenstein films as the doctor's grandson inherits the creepy old Transylvanian estate. Somewhat embarrassed by his family's dubious background, he arrives to find the castle inhabited by descendants of the hunchbacks, hags and wenches who populated his grandfather's unusual world. Overcoming his initial misgivings, he decides to piece together a creature of his own.
