Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) is an average Joe - just another office worker with a cheating girlfriend and a prescription for stress pills. Until he meets Fox (Angelina Jolie) and stumbles headlong into a shadowy world of guns, good and evil. Wesley finds out his dad was actually an international hitman, capable of bending bullets to nail a target. Wesley has the same skills, he just doesn't realise it yet. What will he choose? "The sheep or the wolf," says Sloan (Morgan Freeman), head of the assassins' ancient guild, "the choice is yours."

Office job or hitman? Unfaithful girlfriend or Angelina? Hmm. James McAvoy, who won critical plaudits for Atonement and The Last King of Scotland, swaps acting for action, muscling his way through a Mach One thriller from the Kazakh director of Night Watch.

I must admit this is certainly my type of movie and barring a couple of 'really' daft bits, it is certainly one of my all time favourites ... a definate must see if you want loads of action.
