When the girlfriend of Mexican General Maximilian Rodrigues de Santos tells him his men wouldn't even follow him to a brothel, he decides a heroic act will win her back. Assembling a ragtag "army", he invades Texas, and manages to seize back the Alamo. The Texan National Guard, led by General Billy Joe Hallson are raised to evict him but since both sides want to avoid bloodshed, it's not quite that simple a task. Jerry Paris's likeable comedy was banned in Mexico, and shooting in San Antonio was sabotaged by outraged Texans.
