Drama based on the true events of an Irish journalist's tenacious pursuit of Dublin's drug and crime lords, culminating in her assassination by those very people in 1996. Veronica Guerin exposes the dangerous criminal underworld and, in turn, endangers herself and her family. She remains undeterred despite repeated attacks and threats, as she gets closer and closer to the criminal mastermind, John Gilligan.
