Master of horror John Carpenter turns his attention to the vampire myth, with James Woods as the leader of a gang of mercenary vampire killers in the employ of the Catholic church. After a successful operation they are almost wiped out by the 'king' vampire Valek. Now, the survivors must hunt him down and destroy him before he finishes them off
