In a world where vampires and werewolves feud, leather-clad assassin Selene (Kate Beckinsale) goes on the run, pursued by her nemesis, Marcus (Tony Curran). The ancient vampire is desperate to tap into Selene's memory and release his imprisoned brother. With lover Michael (Scott Speedman) by her side, can Selene dodge her enemies while piecing together the final clues of her heritage?

Beckinsale's husband Len Wiseman returns to direct this sequel, continuing the winning combination of Blade-style action with steamy latex.
