This thrilling science-fiction tale is set in a dystopian near-future. In the late 21st century, a totalitarian regime battles to eradicate a subspecies of humans infected with a genetically modified disease. These vampire-like outcasts boast enhanced intelligence, strength and speed, and must use their superpowers in a bid to defeat their oppressors.

Milla Jovovich (pictured) plays a freedom fighter who sets out to protect a young boy (Cameron Bright) whose powers may hold the key to victory over the humans. Written and directed by Kurt Wimmer, the film also features William Fichtner.
