Comic caper in which a fastidious detective is forced to team up with a large, unlovely dog when it becomes apparent that the mutt was the only witness in a murder case - that of his owner. The slobbering hound not only trashes his new partner's pristine home, but looks set to ruin his love life too - but can he redeem himself by helping to crack the case?
