Frank Martin (Jason Statham) is back as the Transporter, who'll take anything anywhere, no questions asked, for the right money. This time, he's earning what should be easy money guarding the son of US government drugs czar Billings (Matthew Modine). But when the boy is kidnapped by drugs lord Gianni (Alessandro Gassman), Martin takes it as a professional slur and sets out to find the boy and the baddies in Louis Leterrier's film.

With the same director, writers and star as the successful original, there is the same all-action fun as the first movie, including vixen killer Lola (Kate Nauta) who's at her most dangerous in her underwear but the film also contains intriguing twists (why is the boy returned unharmed?) to keep the viewer involved between the wonderfully impossible stunts.
