Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, "To Catch a Thief" is a thoroughly entertaining comedy/thriller about "The Cat" (a once notorious cat burglar played by Cary Grant) who is suspected of a new spate of burglaries on the French Riviera.

The American expatriate has to catch the real burglar before he is caught himself, whilst the heroine (Grace Kelly) is on a quest to 'catch' him - first as the burglar, and then as a husband.

This great film was nominated for three Academy Awards: Best Color Art Direction-Set Decoration, Best Color Costume Design (Edith Head), and its sole winning category - Best Color Cinematography (Robert Burks).
