Mike Figgis's audacious, groundbreaking film fills the screen with four images, with the story switching from one to the other. The story centres on the casting for a film with Richard Edson as the director, Stellan Skarsgard as the producer, his wife, dangerous Jeanne Tripplehorn and her unfaithful lover Salma Hayek. As infidelity, murder and earthquakes rear their ugly heads, so characters intersect in this fascinating cinematic experimental work.
