A feature-length spin-off from the TV series. In Jeff McGrath and Cathy Malkasian's animated film the Thornberry family, led by natural history film maker Colonel Radcliff Thornberry heads to deepest Africa. There, the daughter Eliza, after meeting a shaman, can talk to the animals; a skill that stands her in good stead to foil a dastardly plot by poachers to kill a herd of elephants for their ivory.
