Dr Howard Latimer plays a Harley Street surgeon tricked by an alleged film producer into meeting film star Frieda Veldon at the airport, only to find her dead on his floor the next day. Detective Inspector Dane refuses to believe the film producer ever existed and, when one of his patients also turns up dead, things look bad for Latimer. A complex plot is brilliantly resolved by director Gerald Thomas.
