Humphrey Bogart turns in a storming performance as drifter Fred C Dobbs in John Huston's Oscar-winning 1948 Western. Dobbs and young idealist Bob Curtin (Tim Holt) meet up with grizzled old prospector Howard (Walter Huston) and join him in a search for gold in the wilds of Mexico. But bandits, greed and suspicion threaten to derail their plans...

Highly regarded, this film is considered one of Bogart's finest performances and a tour-de-force from Huston.
