A wonderful cult animation, directed by Stephen Hillenburg, that will appeal to children of all ages. The eponymous SpongeBob (voiced by Tom Kenny) and his starfish pal Patrick (Rick Fagerbakke) set off on a quest to recover the crown of King Neptune (Jeffrey Tambor) and at the same time, impress his daughter Mindy (Scarlett Johansson). Along the way, they meet mysterious biker Dennis (Alec Baldwin) and an animated version of David Hasselhoff (voiced by the man himself).
