There are twists and turns aplenty in this con-trick drama directed and written by David Mamet and starring Steve Martin, Campbell Scott, Ben Gazzara and Rebecca Pidgeon. When an employee of a corporation with a strictly guarded "secret process" strikes up an off-kilter friendship with a rich sophisticate, it is the beginning of a series of inventive plot twists as he is framed for murder and must prove his innocence.
