So that she can provide a conventional upbringing for her young son, a cat burglar tries to go straight following her release from prison. However, her ex-husband refuses to let her see the boy, and she finds getting a job difficult because of her criminal record. Then, a local gangster boss needs her skills for a bank heist, and kidnaps her son to force her to co-operate.
