Tale set in the 1920s about a New York pickpocket on the run from the police who finds action and adventure around the globe. His flight from the law involves him in various daring escapades and tricky situations, including capture by South Sea pirates. He finally ends up in Tibet, where he enters a prestigious martial arts competition.
