William Witney, one of Republic's stalwart helmsman, directs this stirring western, starring John Derek as Jet Cosgrave, swindled out of his father's ranch by a wicked uncle. Returning eight years later with a bunch of gunslingers headed by the psychopathic Duke Rankin, he sets about plotting his revenge. Distractions, in the comely shapes of naïve ranch girl Judy Polsen and Alice Austin, his uncle's fiancée, cannot deter Jet from the final showdown, but not before the two warring sides have already shed a lot of blood in dirt.
