Family comedy about the inimitable Volkswagen Beetle, Herbie the Love Bug. Herbie is losing all his races and is destined for the scrap heap until mechanic Hank gives him a new lease of life. When Herbie starts winning again, his previous owner is so incensed that he builds a menacing black bug to challenge Herbie to the ultimate race.
