William A Seiter's lively comedy stars Ruth Hussey as Nora Connors, who longs for a fashionable mink coat. But her husband Jim doesn't earn enough to buy her one, so she buys enough live minks to make a coat herself. Unfortunately, their landlady objects and the family have to decamp to the country to raise their growing stock. With Eve Arden and William Demarest as Gladys and Harvey Jones, the Connors' wisecracking friends and neighbours.
