Anthony Page's re-make of Hitchcock's 1938 classic version throws Richard Condon and Amanda Kelly together on a train travelling from pre-war Germany, finding themselves embroiled in a political conspiracy when the mysterious English nanny Miss Froy first enlists their help and then disappears. With Arthur Lowe and Ian Carmichael as Charters and Caldicott.
