This faithful action adventure adaptation of the Kipling character Mowgli, a boy raised by animals in the Indian jungle.

After returning to civilisation after years in the jungle, Mowgli (Jason Scott Lee) is reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Kitty (Lena Headey), the daughter of a British officer.

Soon he decides to move to the colonnial Indian post where she lives, but soon has his hands full, searching for a lost city and dealing with a vicious rival for the young woman's affection.
