Science fiction classic about a chemist who discovers an invisibility formula. The scientist has a great laugh for a while, until he realises that its nasty side effects include megalomania and insanity. During increasingly brief lucid intervals, he tries desperately to find an antidote; but when the drug holds sway, he terrorises his small village, leaving a trail of murder and destruction.
