Director Miguel Arteta and writer Mike White, who collaborated on Chuck and Buck, take on suburban boredom. Jennifer Anniston, playing against her Friends role, is bored. Her husband Phil spends his spare time smoking dope with pal Bubba rather than with her. Longing for something more, she falls for fellow department-store worker Holden Worther but a death and a secret revealed change her life forever
