Gnonsensical but gnonetheless amusing tale of a lumber tycoon who sets off on a seemingly harmless trip to the airport to pick up his grandkids, and ends up helping a couple of gnomes find their lost colony. Walter Brennan plays two roles, as the grandad whose company is responsible for felling the trees where the gnomes used to live, and as Knobby, the 943 year old gnome searching for a wife.
