Slice-of-life drama about an unlikely friendship between a heart transplant patient and a young girl on the run. After a life-saving transplant operation made possible by his grandson's tragic death, a man strikes up a friendship with a mysterious young runaway - a girl who says she is hitchhiking to her aunt's house but who is actually running away from home.
