An American jetliner, on an Athens-Rome-New York flight, is hijacked by two Palestinian terrorists, diverting the plane to Beirut. The passengers, mostly Americans, are the hostages of the "New World Revolutionary Organization". The Pentagon sends the Delta Force to the rescue, a special commando equipped with the latest weapon technology and specially trained for this kind of situation.

The Delta Force is a Film programme that first aired in 1986 and has been rated 18.
