Michelle Pfeiffer's three-year-old son Ben disappears into thin air when Pfeiffer visits a class reunion. Detective Whoopi Goldberg dedicates herself to the search, but there is no trace... until nine years later, when he is found in the care of John Kapelos, who has innocently taken Ben on from the now-dead kidnapper in Ulu Grosbard's emotional thriller.
