The story of the Chicken Ranch, the whorehouse of the title, and the fight to close it down. The Chicken Ranch has become a part of the Texas scenery and Miss Mona and her girls are in no hurry to leave, particularly as almost everyone in the area wants them to stay. Cue love, songs and Southern moustaches as Sheriff Burt Reynolds and madame Dolly Parton team up to stop a television preacher from closing their business.
