In 18th-century Ireland, younger sons of noblemen had a rough deal - the eldest son would inherit the property while the best they could hope for was a career in the clergy or the army. Or they could abduct a heiress and, in just 24 hours, win her heart. Loosely based on a true story, Stefan Schwartz's film stars Daniel Lapaine and Matthew Rhys as two friends who 'steal' Alice Evans and Sophia Myles - but not everything goes according to plan.
