An absolutely wonderful oddity - a live action film based on a Dr Seuss story. Bart would rather play baseball than practice the piano under the stern tutelage of Dr Terwilliker and one night dreams he's the captive of his teacher in a fortress, one of 500 reluctant pianists held to play a giant piano concerto. The sets are as bizarre as one would expect and the musical numbers, particularly the one held in the dungeon, are gems.
