Inexperienced reporter Jonathan Fisher, desperate to impress his editor, makes up a story about a Times Square pimp. It's not until real street hustler Fast Black searches him out that Fisher realises he's made a terrible mistake. Cracking performances by Morgan Freeman and Kathy Bates as his whore.
