Golden Girls regular Estelle Getty stars as Sylvester Stallone 's mother in this outrageous comedy. Stallone plays Joe Bomowski, an LA police sergeant who lives a happy, quiet life, on the other side of America from his over- protective mother, Tutti. But when Tutti, who has arrived in LA for an improptu visit, is the witness to a murder, Joe finds himself reluctantly saddled with a new partner - his mother!
