More encounters with prehistoric monsters as the man who discovered King Kong returns to remote Skull Island with a band of treasure hunters. When the team rescue Kong's son from quicksand, the huge ape becomes their ally in the search for a cache of lost jewels guarded by fantastic giant reptiles. Visual effects supremo Willis O'Brien once again created the impressive creatures.
