Based on a true story, Will Smith plays a smart talking student who bluffs his way into the house and lives of Donald Sutherland and Stockard Channing, claiming to be their son's friend and so dazzling them and their guest Ian McKellen with his cooking and hints that he's Sidney Poitier's son that they accept him at face value - a dangerous assumption to make.
