This exuberant and fast-paced western is set in the 1800's around a misfit group of four men.

In 1880, the four men Paden (Kevin Kline), Emmett (Scott Glenn), Jake (Kevin Costner) and Mal Johnson (Danny Glover) travel together to the city of Silverado in order to right the injustices which exist in a small town.

On their travels they come across many dangers before they finally engage the "bad guys" and bring peace and equality back to the city.
