Golden Globe nominee Penelope Ann Miller and Reed Diamond star in this inspiring story of one woman whose life is shattered by a buried secret and whose future depends on her courage to fight the system and bring her abuser to justice. Thirteen years previously, Kathy and her best friend were raped by rogue cop John McCrane. Fearing for their lives, the two women kept silent about the attacks. Just as she settles down to a new life with her new husband, Kathy is horrified to see McCrane back in town. She finally wants justice, but her abuser, being a cop, seems untouchable.
