Slapstick comedy in which two inept kidnappers abduct the wife of a crooked businessman, in the sadly mistaken belief that he will cough up 50,000 dollars to get her back. In fact he is delighted, having contemplated having her killed anyway, and simply ignores the ransom demand, basking all too briefly in the delusion that he has seen the last of her.
