Drama about a young rebel in small-town 50s America who falls foul of the local sheriff. Dude works at a garage to support his alcoholic mother and, when not at work, plays his electric guitar. But he finds himself facing problems with both his girlfriend and the town sheriff who, angry at his own hoodlum son, picks on rebellious Dude.
